The idea to organize the first cruise mania started off in the spring of 2005.
My girlfriend and me are passionated kustom kulture freaks for more than 10 years now.
We owned several us cars in the past and travelled from meeting to meeting in the european summers.
One of those days we discovered beach cruiser bicycles and ofcourse we bought one.
After a couple of carshow visits I realized that there were in Belgium several car and bike events but none for beach cruiser or kustom bicycles (at least that’s what I thought)
So I worked out a small happening for beach bikes, just a traffic-free crossroad, a bar and some vendors with merchandise, and a bicycle cruise nothing more...
Suprisingly some kool cars and bikes showed up and anyone enjoyed the event: Cruise mania was a fact

The next annuals were based on the same idea, the location changed but it's still quite small, bands are playing, and the number of vendors are growing.
Still the entrance is free for everyone (if I have to abondon that ideal, I probably knock off)
We give priority to traditional built hotrods and kustoms
Bobbers, true choppers and caferacers
Pre 1970 us cars
Aircooled vw’s
And of course all beach cruiser chopper kustom bicycles things,
if you don’t know if you own something that is listed, you probably don’t fit in

I would like to give thanks to anyone that support us one way or another

El cheapo for his artwork and the design of the posters and for 1000 of other things, you really inspire us!
James (Rockabilly Day) for promoting cruise mania the same way as his own event
The guys from vizion design for creating this website
All the sponsors over 6 years (without them, no cruise mania)
The people who work their ass of for free, on the event itself (you know who you are)
The community for the support

Everyone that ever showed up on cruise mania!!

Chico and Loesje
